stubbing - John and Susan

John STUBBING was baptised in Castle Camps on 15 Dec 1696, the son of John STUBBING (d 1711) and his wife Susan (nee SMITH d 1720). His first marriage was to Elizabeth FREEMAN on 23 May 1722 in Castle Camps. She was the daughter of William and Lettice (nee BARKER) Freeman of Shudy Camps, where she was baptised on 11 Feb 1703.

• Mary bp 1 Jul 1722 and buried on 25 July the same year.
• Elizabeth bp 8 Nov 1725

Elizbaeth Stubbing died in 1728 and was buried 4 March of that year.

John then married his second Elizabeth - HODSON, the daughter of Samuel HODSON and his wife Elisabeth DAY. Elisabeth had been baptised 9 Nov 1711 in Castle Camps and the couple were married 8 Aug 1731.

John STUBBING/STUBBIN and Susan SMITH were married 3 Nov 1685 in Castle Camps and had the following children baptised in Castle Camps:
