Rooks, Job - to Farcet, Huntingdon
Rooks, Solomon George - Joined the army and took
his discharge in Dundee, Scotland, where he settled and died in 1908.
Australia and New Zealand
Barrett - Elizabeth in Sydney, Australia by 1857.
Possibly the daughter of Mary bp Feb 1837 in Castle Camps. Another Elizabeth
BARRETT, aged 84 in 1922, lived in Paddington Sydney. This could be
the same one!
Baynes - Isaac and Emma (née Boreham WILLIS ) and
their children, George, Lawrence, Mary Sophia, Susanna and Joseph, left
Castle Camps in 1855 and emigrated on the ship Caroline to South
Australia. They settled in the mid-north of that state and have become
a very successful farming family
Carter - John and Hannah (née Prentice)and their
children John and Joseph, to South Australia. William, Richmond and
12 year old William CARTER were also in South Australia by 1855.
Hymus - Frederick and Phoebe (nee Barrett) - to
Western Australia in 1841 on the "Diadem" and settling in
Rockhampton with their 9 children. Three further children were born
in Australia.

and Jacob and their wives to Victoria,

Rooks - Absalom:
Left the army and married a Scottish girl, settling in Dundee for 30
years before emigrating to New Zealand in 1907 to join their elder sons.
Tilbrook - Jabez. To Willowie, South Australia

Stavers - Bartholomew
and John. To Portsmouth, New Hampshire in the early 1750s. John remained
and became a publican, but Bartholomew returned to Castle Camps and
died there in 1784.
Stubblefield - Symon. Bp 1629 and went to Virginia.
and beyond......
Canada - Charles COWELL bn 6 June 1840,
the son of Ann COWELL, who later married George SAVILLE. Charles married
Harriet MARSH in Ashdon Essex in 1862 and had a family of five children
before emigrating to Minnesota, Canada about 1874. A further five children
were born in Canada. Charles died in 1909.
