Richard Baynes married Grace CLARKE in
Castle Camps on 29 October 1771. They had nine known children - four daughters
and five sons. Richard was buried in Castle Camps on 21 November 1834
having died at the great age of 88 years.

married Thomas GRAINGER in the village 18 Sep 1807.
- Ann bp 1 Apr 1792 and buried a few months
later on 26 Jul 1792
- Ann Clarke bp 8 Sep 1793. This could
be the Ann Baines married to Stephen ANDREWS 12 Oct 1812 in Castle Camps.
Their sixth child and
fifth son, Lawrence Baynes married Ann HICKS in the village
on 3 November 1807.

GIBBS on 22 Oct 1835 in Castle Camps. She died in 1837 and was buried
under the auspices of the Congregational Church in Castle Camps.
- Charlotte, born in 1820
Abraham,
who died aged 66 in Shudy Camps and was buried on 25 February 1877, married
Charlotte SMITH in Shudy Camps on 11 October 1831. Their first child,
William Laurence was baptised in Castle Camps - the rest in Shudy.

Charles, the second son of Abraham and
Charlotte, married Sarah WENHAM in London in 1864. She died about 1907,
some 17 years after his death in February 1890.
Their known children were:
- William, who died as an infant in 1865
- Francis (sic) bp 17 Feb 1868 in London.
She married Francis Redburn SMITH in 1896.
- Charles bn 27 Nov 1873 in London, married
Mary Ann CHRISTEL on 25 Nov 1899, and died on 29 Jan 1946.
- Alice bn 1 June 1880 in London and married
to Edward ETHERTON on 15 July 1911. She died 29 Sep 1918
- Arthur bn 19 Mar 1884 in London and
died 6 Mar 1918.
Isaac BAYNES
was the third child of Laurence and Ann Baynes. He married Emma Boreham
WILLIS in Castle Camps on 22 October 1835. They had a large family of
eleven children.

Isaac and Emma with their children George, Lawrence, Mary,
Susanna and Joseph left on the ship "Caroline" for Australia.

Lawrence Baynes
was a 16 year old lad when he left England with his parents for a new
life in Australia. In 1872 he met Louisa SYMES and they were married on
10 April that year in Salisbury. Their children were as follows:
